OopBuy QC Checklist: What to Inspect in Every Order
A universal QC framework that applies to every category on OopBuy, from shoes to accessories.
The Universal QC Framework
Every category shares three QC layers: visual accuracy, material integrity, and construction quality. Visual accuracy means colors, logos, and proportions match the retail reference. Material integrity means the fabric, leather, or hardware feels appropriate for the tier. Construction quality means stitching, seams, and closures are clean and functional.
Photo Checklist for Sellers
Request these shots before approving: front full view, back full view, both side profiles, close-up of the primary logo or branding, close-up of any hardware or closure, interior label or tag, and a size reference object next to the item. Sellers who provide all seven shots are typically more organized and reliable.
Common Category-Specific Flaws
Shoes: uneven sole paint, misaligned heel logos. Hoodies: crooked prints, thin blanks. T-shirts: off-center graphics, wrong blank color. Jackets: weak zippers, uneven baffles. Pants: inconsistent inseam length, warped seams. Headwear: shallow fit, off-center embroidery. Sets: color mismatch between pieces. Underwear: twisted waistbands, thin fabric. Jerseys: peeling crests, crooked numbers. Accessories: hollow buckles, weak clasps.
When to Approve, Exchange, or Cancel
Approve if all seven shots pass your personal standard. Exchange if there is a fixable flaw like a size swap or color correction. Cancel if the flaw is structural — wrong material, missing branding, or construction damage that cannot be fixed by the seller. Never feel pressured to approve because of a seller deadline.
